The European Beach Rugby Association (EBRA) was officially inaugurated in Belgium in March 2012 following a meeting of the European Beach Rugby Committee, comprising of members from the 4 leading Beachfives tournaments in Europe, namely:
- BELGIUM – Zeebrugge Strandrugby
- FRANCE – Marseilles Beachfives
- ITALY – LIGNANO SUPER BEACH 5’s RUGBY
- PORTUGAL – Figueira Beachfives
The mission of the EBRA and its members is to work together, in a co-ordinated and cohesive manner, to promote and drive the further development of competitive Beachfives Rugby in the EU.
