It’s a fact….they play Beach Rugby in Luxembourg ! Indeed last weekend the Walferdange Rugby Club staged the 7th edition of their beach tournament and surprise, surprise, guess who took the title ? None other than our old friends from France, Les Bleus Sevens, who having already scooped the top spot at MUNICH 5’s in February, have now taken their 2nd Beach title of their 2013 season. Here’s a look at how the Mens tournament ended

During an early cocktail break at the SB5 Beach Clubhouse there was talk amongst the SB5 team about when Les Bleus might show some of their magic on the official EBRA Beach Series circuit. Or indeed even when we might see them at the Home of SUPER BEACH 5’S RUGBY , here in LIGNANO. For sure it would be interesting to see how they might fare on Seaside sands ! In the meantime, with the 2013 EBRA Beach Series due to commence on 21 June in Marseille, they can keep an eye on how their French compatriots, Ovale Beach Marseille, get on as they will feature in each leg of the 2013 EBRA Beach Series.
