WHAT IS THE LIGNANO INTERNATIONAL CUP ? 
- It’s an Annual Select Invitational BEACH 5S RUGBY TOURNAMENT.
- It’s the most prestigious tournament on the Beach Rugby Sporting calendar.
- A maximum of only 12 teams are invited to participate, representing 12 different countries.
- The teams are generally Specialist Club teams from around the globe.
- The teams are principally selected from those who have won or featured highly in other European or Worldwide BEACH 5s RUGBY tournaments.
- All teams participate in the tournament to demonstrate the skill and appeal of SUPER BEACH 5s RUGBY.
- The prime objective of the tournament is to promote the sport of SUPER BEACH 5S RUGBY to an international worldwide audience.
