IRELAND – Lansdowne in Control

For the 2nd time in less than a month, Lansdowne met with rivals, Garryowen, at the Top of the All Ireland League. This time it was on the back pitch at the AVIVA Stadium in Dublin. And once again the league leaders proved too strong for the Munster men taking an impressive victory by 34-22, including a valuable ‘bonus point’ for running in 5 tries. Lansdowne Capitan, Ross McCarron was again on the score sheet along with Cian Aherne, Matt Healy & Mark Roche while Craig Ronaldson at out-half continued his excellent form with some fine goal kicking.

With the most prolific attack in Irish club rugby, Lansdowne now take a 10 point lead at the top of the classification, giving coach, Mike Ruddock’s men firm control of the 2012/13 championship. But with a series of tough matches ahead including Young Munster, who now lie 2nd in the table, there is still everything to play for.

Naturally, as ‘sons’ of the SUPER BEACH 5’s RUGBY family, we’ll be keeping a very close eye on the Lansdowne boys progress……

SUPER BEACH 5’s RUGBY is not for your Average Guys. And there’s nothing average about this Lansdowne squad.
